French Enamel Painting Opera Singer Marie Roze Signed 1899

This is a beautiful antique enamel on copper plaque of an opera singer Madame Marie Roze 1846-1927. She was an Operatic Soprano and toured all over the world including the U.K and U.S. in the 1880-1900’s. The enamel is extremely lifelike, amazing quality raised enamel on jewelry and dress portions. The enamel is signed on the back Courret and dated 1889 and numbered 37044. The frame is bronze with gilding worn off. Enamel in excellent condition, Measures 5.5 inches by 4 3/8 inches.
