Italian Religous Oil On Panel Giltwood Icon C.1910

This is a beautiful antique icon of an angel attendant oil on panel with giltwood gothic style frame c.1910. This is one of the winged angles after Fra Angelicos(1395-1455) tabernacle in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence Italy. The painting is extremely well done some missing spots of paint on her face and dress and some crazing cracks in the wood. The gothic wood frame is in good condition has an old label on the back of icon possibly the artist. Measures 27" high by 10" wide. Similar works have sold for $2,500.
