This is a beautiful and rare bronze by important listed artist Duchoiselle C. 19th century. The bronze depicts a finely detailed classical girl holding a book and flowers wearing a floral wreath. The woman is sitting on pedestal with larger flowers and a book titled De Jussieu. De Jussieu is a book by French botanist who created a system of plant classifications in 1789.
