This is a beautiful pastel painting by important artist Dolona Roberts. Dolona Roberts was born in 1936 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Guided by her Native American heritage (she is part Cherokee) and by a fascination for color, she created her internationally exhibited Blanket series of pastel paintings. This painting had three figures with bright colors. Signed on the lower left titled on the back, this painting was originally sold at the Adgio Galleries in pal Spring still has the label on the back.
