Juan Clara (1875-58) Original Antique Gilt Bronze Children On Chair

This is a beautiful original Juan Clara bronze c.1920. It is signed Juan Clara with foundry Bronze/AG/Paris pastille numbered 25. The bronze has a great gilt patina. It is a cute playful and very lifelike bronze of the two children on a chair. The bronze and patina are in great condition slight bend in the chair legs. Measures 7.5" by 5" high. Juan Clara was an important Spanish sculptor who specialized in sculpting children. She worked in France. She was born in (1875-1959) Since 2011 the record price for this artist at auction is $7,714 USD for MARBRE "JEUNE FEMME A LA LYRE", sold at Oise Auctions in 2019. The artist died in 1958.
