R. Blackinton Sterling Silver Kitten Fairytale Child's Bowl & Underplate. This is a beautiful set of child's sterling silver made by R. Blackinton. They have the fairytale: Three little kittens found their mittens engraved on the bowl with the kittens dressed in clothing holding mittens. The underplate has the three kittens, one eating a pie, one playing with a ball, and one playing with string. The bowl is marked GENUINE ETCHING STERLING R+B-Co 724 and the underplate is marked GENUINE ETCHING STERLING R+B-CO 711. They are in good condition, some minor wear to the underside of the bowl. The bowl measures 4-3/8 inches wide by 1-7/8 inches high; the plate diameter 6-3/8 inches; total weight 7.35 ounces.
