Antique Sterling Silver Handled Art Nouveau Satyr Face Metal Tool. The tool has a unique design with a small metal hammer portion and a slit where one could cut thread. The sterling portion has an Art Nouveau satyr head and repousse design with fruit and leaves. The tool is in excellent condition and is marked Sterling on the handle and Germany on the metal portion. The metal portion is also marked PAT APPL. 4. It measures 5 inches long, 1 inch wide and weighs 49.8 grams.
