French Sterling Silver Side-Handle Coffe Pot By Pierre Gavard Paris Late 19th C. This is a beautiful and rare French sterling silver coffee pot with a detailed Rococo design and a carved ebony wood handle. The body of the coffee pot has a twisted design and the top has a rococo finial. The hinge of the coffee pot has 2 shell-like designs. The detailed engraving on this coffee pot is superb. It is marked underneath with the French makers marks and also marked on the lid. The coffee pot is in excellent condition. It measures 9-1/2 inches high, widest width 9 inches, bottom portion of coffee pot measures 5 inches. Weight 22.80 troy ounces.
