Rare Hand Hammered Large Dirk Van Erp Silver Plated Arts & Craft Bowl. This is a beautiful hand hammered bowl by famous arts and crafts artist Dirk Van Erp who worked in San Francisco. It is marked on the underside with his windmill hallmark Dirk Van Erp San Francisco. The bowl measures 11 /12" wide by 3" high. Would make a great fruit bowl. Excellent Condition "Dirk Van Erp was born in 1860 and died in 1933. He opened his own studio in 1908 in Oakland, California. He moved his studio to San Francisco in 1909 and the studio remained under the direction of his son until 1977."
