Pair Antique Vienna Bronze Eagle Bookends. The bookends are inscribed Made in Austria on the back and are also inscribed B.ALTMAN & Co. They are set on their original marble bases. B. Altman & Co were the retailers of these in New York and sold them around the turn of the century. They are in excellent condition. Height 5 inches. Width 5-3/8 inches. Depth 3 inches. The eagles are beautifully sculptured and rest in a cave like background. These will looks beautiful on your desk or on a shelf in your bookcase. They can also be used individually as paperweights.
