Rare Reed & Barton Sterling Silver High Relief Sculptured Poppy Fruit Bowl. The fruit bowl has gorgeous super high relief sculpture embracing the entire design. The underside is marked sterling and also has the early Reed & Barton hallmark. This is an Art Nouveau treasure, I have never seen or owned one of these before. It may be used as a centerpiece as well as fruit bowl. It measures 13-1/4 inches long by 11-1/8 inches wide. Height 3 inches. Weight 17-1/2 troy ounces. It is in excellent condition. It has a lightly engraved monogram along the top edge, looks like RH. This is a rare Art Nouveau bowl sure to please and delight the new owner.
